As of today, Walt Disney World guests purchasing tickets will see a slight change. Most Date-based Theme Park Tickets, Multi-day theme park tickets, Water Park Annual Passes have all seen price changes. The biggest change comes on a 1 day base PEAK ticket has increased from $129 to $159. A peak 4-day base theme park ticket saw an increase of $9 per day.
In October of 2018, Walt Disney World introduced date based tickets, which This included a new more interactive way to purchase tickets based on what you are looking to do during your visit. The new online vacation-planning destination features park offering overviews, travel tips and customized suggestions based on each guest’s personal preferences – helping guests make more informed decisions.
Single day non-peak season tickets maintain their price of $109. WDW Annual park passes did not change in price. Water park Annual Pass pricing has increased from $130 to $139.
Another change occurred with preferred parking pricing. Preferred parking now has a tired pricing based on peak days. Regular season, preferred parking is $45, Peak tier preferred parking is $50 per day. Preferred parking was previously a flat rate of $50. Standard parking pricing did not change.
Overall, the pricing increases were very small, and should not greatly impact vacation packages as you are planning for 2019 and beyond. This is great news, as Disneyland ticket increases were rather large this year, so WDW fans can breathe a sigh of relief.
