Get your sweet tooth ready, because I’ve got some yummy new treats in store for you on this edition of Sweet Treats! Here’s all the latest info for all the new sweet treats at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts.
First off, it’s every Purple Wall fan’s dream come true! There’s a PURPLE WALL SLUSH coming to Tomorrowland Terrace on May 21! This taro tea slush comes with tapioca boba pearls, whipped cream, and purple sprinkles, and matches the famous wall perfectly, making it a fun (and refreshing) photo op! So get ready for the newest selfie craze! I personally cannot wait to try it out!
Millennial pink alert! There’s an adorable new treat at Disneyland Resort – it’s the Millennial Pink Macaron! This strawberry buttercream macaron is dipped in white chocolate and filled with coconut lime jelly. You can find it at Jolly Holiday Bakery Café in Disneyland Park, and at Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Café and Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream at Disney California Adventure park.
If you’ve been driving around Disney California Adventure park, you might have seen these candy apples roll into Trolley Treats for Pixar Fest! Available through June 22, you’ll be able to chomp down on the Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater Apples. These Granny Smith apples are dipped in caramel and chocolate and decorated with marshmallow wheels, candy-coated chocolates, chewy chocolate candy, and sour belts. Coming on over to the east coast at Walt Disney World Resort, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort has a tropical treat coming your way on May 15th at Intermission Food Court. If you’re a pineapple fan, you won’t want to miss it! It’s a Pineapple Whip Swirl Cupcake! This yummy yellow cupcake comes topped with a swirl of vanilla and pineapple cream, white sprinkles, gold dust, and a dropper of pineapple whip gel! How cool is that? But that’s not all – you can also find a new Blackberry Lemon Cheesecake and a chocolate Red Forest Cupcake filled with cherry compote and topped cherry buttercream.
Find your inner-Disney princess at Epcot with this beautiful Belle Cupcake at Sunshine Seasons. This chocolate cupcake comes with cherry filling and a dress made of lemon buttercream and fondant. And at Fountain View, you’ll see a few new treats like brownies, Mickey-shaped cinnamon rolls, and crisped rice treats dipped in dark chocolate, drizzled in white chocolate, and covered in Mickey sprinkles.
Whether it’s your birthday or your unbirthday, you can always have some yummy ice cream at Magic Kingdom Park!
